Diabetes Test

Tests for Diabetes - BSL-F & BSL-PP

  • BSL-F (Fasting Blood Sugar):
Measures blood sugar levels before eating or on an empty stomach.

    • A reading of 126 mg/dL or higher on two separate tests indicates diabetes.
    • Levels between 100 and 125 mg/dL suggest prediabetes, a stage before diabetes.
  • BSL-PP (Post-Prandial Blood Sugar):
Measures blood sugar levels after eating.

    • A reading of less than 140 mg/dL is considered normal.
    • Levels between 140 and 199 mg/dL (7.8 to 11 mmol/L) indicate prediabetes, signaling the early stage before diabetes.
